Why no community is safe
Unintentional and often fatal overdoses of FENTANYL have increased dramatically, and the drug has become the leading agent in fatal drug overdoses. Many of these overdoses occur in people who do not intend take fentanyl, which can resemble or be combined with other common drugs of abuse (heroin, cocaine, and prescription pain medications). Tiny doses of fentanyl are deadly. It is essentially invisible, and has no smell or taste. Learn more below about this public health crisis.
