ALL IN MOUNTAIN BROOK awarded the Dr. Dale Wisely ALL IN Service Scholarship to two 2023 graduates from Mountain Brook High School,
Anna Bella Foster and Sophia Li.
Anna Bella Foster is the daughter of Greg and Julie Foster. At MBHS she was an SGA representative for 3 years, President of the Key Club, and the ALL IN MOUNTAIN BROOK Student Representative from 9th through 12th grade. In the community, she served as President of the Student Leadership Council at the Ronald McDonald House. There, she created Art In a Box, which provides patients at Children's of Alabama and the Ronald McDonald House boxes of various art activities. Anna Bella will attend NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Stella Adler Studio of Acting. in the fall.
Sophia Li is the daughter of Dong Li and Xiu Fang Gao. Among her many accomplishments, Sophia joined the Covidnineteen Project, in which she led free virtual workshops for elementary students. She formed Generation Speak, in which she taught youth public speaking skills. She spent summers working with kids at the Yuren Chinese Summer Camp. Sophia will be attending Yale University in the fall. Sophia plans to become a policymaker who, as she wrote, "advocates for the voiceless, like youth, especially pertaining to their mental health.
