Hello Everybody!

This talk is about how children gradually (and imperfectly!) develop the ability to listen and to follow our instructions. It is primarily our responsibility as parents to foster this development. There are parenting practices which, unfortunately, actually interfere with children's ability to listen and mind us. We will talk about those. Then we will discuss principles and practices that will help our children learn to listen, do more of what we want them to do, and less of what we would rather they not do.
